THE FIRST LARGE-SCALE PARAMETRIC FACADE IN UKRAINE
We are actively working and are already enjoying the visible results of lighting two of the three towers of the Signature Ukraine residential complex - the first large-scale project in Ukraine with parametric architecture. Our Expolight team joined the work at the beginning of the project path together with the stellar German team of architects Schmidhuber. For more than three years we have been working on a project, developing both facade and interior lighting.
We love working with international teams such as the German architectural firm Schmidhuber. This company is one of the world's leading specialists in the field of architecture, whose design partners were well-known brands such as Audi, Lamborgini, Sony and others.
Such tasks are always interesting - even at the design stage, together with the façade designers, we developed a key façade profile that forms the characteristic parametric curving lines of the façade and at the same time contains all the lamps and cables.
Together with the team, we developed a unique product from scratch - special contour luminaires, which consist of separate sealed modules connected by a wire, but at the same time it looks like a solid line of light and bends in two directions, like a spine. We carefully thought out the case and its design, modeled and perfected the location of the LEDs. It is especially pleasant when something so unique is created and implemented in Ukraine, which NO ONE has ever done before!
We also developed a single facade and territory management server, with custom software, a cloud management system developed by our Expolight team. This server allows you to manage all three towers as a single canvas.
