Parks on the roofs of skyscrapers are a special luxury of modern cities. Green spaces climb higher and higher, so that even in dense megacities create a corner of nature for people. But wherever the park is set up, the laws of good lighting should work the same everywhere.
What techniques and solutions have we designed and implemented here?
No traditional columns and floor lamps! Light is only hidden and reflected from plants.
All light sources are integrated in park furniture and designs below eye level. To illuminate the plants, warm white light was used in combination with warm green to create contrasts.
Nothing glares, does not blind, only creates the necessary functional lighting and aesthetics, complementing the beautiful views of the city.
A separate feature is the bridge connecting the two towers at the height of the 26th floor. An external dynamic media illumination visually unites the two towers, and for people strolling, the light also flows comfortably from hidden light sources into the railing.
