Residential complex Jack House

The 31-storey building is one of the iconic dominants of the city.

The architect of the building project is the British John Daws. Expolight’s project of lighting authorship is on the list of the winners of the Los Angeles LIT Lighting Design Awards 2018.

At the height of bird's flight, there is a unique relaxation area with panoramic fitness, a restaurant, a SPA, and an outdoor thermal pool. This zone on the roof of the building is completed with a large structure, similar to the wings of a bird. It was especially difficult to illuminate it evenly so that the light sources located under it were not reflected. For this purpose, luminaires with four types of optical systems were used and points of the arrangement were specially calculated.

Local lighting of the facades duplicates the wedge-shaped decoration design designed by the architect. The backlight is fully multimedia. More than 20 lighting programs have been programmed to allow the building to be illuminated in different ways for holidays and events. There are both static and dynamic lighting programs. Some of them are made in one color, the others contain several shades at once.

All lamps are integrated into the facade, which means we have developed special constructive niches where the lamps are hidden. Therefore, the light on the facade is not direct, but reflected, sliding along the facade. Also due to this, the lighting of the residential complex does not create discomfort for residents of nearby houses.
